Lesson Policy
Please read carefully.
The rules are for the benefit of both the student and the teacher.
I completely understand that there are times when unexpected things happen - people get sick, emergencies happen, and life can be unpredictable and so a student may be unable to attend a lesson. I am considerate of these situations.
It would really be appreciated too if you would also consider my schedule. When a lesson is missed without notice, I (the teacher) lose that time, and it impacts me negatively in many ways. It also means that another student who wanted that lesson spot couldn’t take it and had to miss out.
My policy is implemented to help keep things fair for everyone.
Lesson Policy:
1. Scheduling

All lessons are taught online through Google Meet.

Lessons must be booked in advance.

You can reserve a regular weekly time, but this time may change if you often miss lessons.

If you need to change your regular time, please tell me as soon as possible so I can try to find a new time that works for both of us.
2. Payments

Payment is required at the time of booking a lesson.

Lessons are confirmed only once payment has been received.

Rates may change periodically, and any changes will always be communicated in advance.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Please provide 12–24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson.

Cancellations made with less than 12–24 hours’ notice will be charged at the full lesson rate.

If I need to cancel a lesson, you will receive a full credit or the option to reschedule.
4. No‑Shows

If you do not attend your scheduled lesson and no notice is given, the lesson will be charged in full.

No‑show lessons cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
5. Late Arrivals

Lessons will end at the scheduled time, even if you join late.

If I am delayed, you will receive the full lesson time or the option to reschedule.
6. Technical Issues

Students are responsible for having a stable internet connection, working audio/video, and access to Google Meet.

If technical issues occur on the student’s side, the lesson may be shortened without refund.

If technical issues occur on my side, we will reschedule or extend the lesson.
7. Language:
Important to note - I teach my students with respect and courtesy and appreciate it when they treat me the same. I believe in teaching you to expand your vocabulary and communicate appropriately in English so please no swearing or dirty words.
